To start the quest, players need to meet Poppy Sweeting southwest of Brocburrow in the World Map region. Upon meeting up with Poppy and talking to the centaur Dorran, you are introduced to a central stone circle surrounded by mysterious runes. Inserting the Moonstone into the center stone activates the mechanisms, causing two distinct symbols on the archway door to glow brightly.
Understanding the entry requirement hinges on reading the illuminated symbols correctly. Pay close attention to which two symbols light up on the archway before moving any environmental objects. This setup prepares players for the pillar alignment challenge needed to unseal the entrance.
Solving the Moonstone Pillar Shadow Puzzle
Solving the entrance door requires using Accio to drag the two outer stone pillars into specific positions. The goal is to cast shadows from the central stone that point directly at the matching floor symbols corresponding to the glowing archway runes. One shadow must point toward the sun symbol, while the other must line up with the key symbol containing a distinct inner dot.
Misidentifying the symbols is a common mistake, as multiple key-like runes appear on the floor. Carefully check that the inner pillar and outer pillar cast their shadows on the exact matching ground locations. Once both shadows align with the target runes, the sealed doorway opens, granting access to The Gilded Perch.
Navigating The Gilded Perch Elementary Puzzles
Inside the dungeon, players must navigate through linear pathways filled with environmental obstacles. Removing overgrown vines using Incendio clears the primary corridor leading deeper into the ruins. Eventually, you will reach a chamber featuring two spell platforms set into the floor—one marked with a flame symbol and the other marked with an ice symbol.

After clearing the room of all hostile targets, approach the final carved doors at the rear of the chamber.
